Summer in Auron
Auron transforms into a calm mountain retreat in summer.

Winter in Auron

The altitude range of the ski area of over 135km is from 1 600m at the base to 2,450m at the top.
  • There are about 43 to 46 ski runs (depending on snow coverage) by difficulty:
    • Green (beginner): 3 runs
    • Blue (intermediate): 16-17 runs
    • Red (advanced): 15-16 runs
    • Black (expert): 8-10 runs
  • For families and non-skiers, Auron offers more than skiing: there are snow gardens, zones for children, snowshoe-hiking, ice-rink/ice-hockey, and après-ski events to accommodate all levels and interests.
  • Because of the wide range of runs (green to black), Auron suits beginners, families, intermediates and advanced skiers alike.
  • The multiple sectors and good lift coverage make it relatively easy to explore different types of terrain in a single stay.
  • The resort’s family-friendly and social aspects (snow-gardens, après-ski, non-ski activities) make it attractive if you’re traveling with kids or people with mixed ski levels.
  • The location is relatively accessible from Nice (compared to high-Alps resorts), which may be a plus if you live in or near the coast.
